Masayuki Yoshinaga Born in Osaka’s Jusoh district in 1964. After working in the night entertainment industry, as a street-stall keeper and as a truck driver, Yoshinaga strives to become a photographer who specializes in youth welfare. “Zoku” (by Little More Publishing), a photography collection of Boh-soh-zoku (youth bike-gang), becomes one of Yoshinaga’s representative work. He has also photographed youth street-gangs, street gals, and foreigners living in Japan, individuals who are often labeled as “minorities” within Japan. In the recent years, Yoshinaga has participated in the "Shinjuku ID" project which exhibited portraits of everyday Shinjuku people on the temporary wall of a construction site located at the south entrance of the Shinjuku train station. He also serves as the headmaster of a photography workshop school called "Resist," presided by Roony/247 Photography. Photo book projects includes “Moh-Shiwake-Gozai-Masen (Apologies)” by Shincho Publishing, “Nippon Takaine” by Media Factory, “Gothic and Lolita” by Phaidon Publishing, semi-autobiography about his life in Jusoh District called “Hetare”by Little More Publishing, among others. resist 2期生写真展「表明」オープニング 2期の写真展のオープニングに行ってきた。 彼らなりに頑張ったんやろうけど、がっかりしてしまい言葉にならない。 様々な講師の方の何を聞いてたんやろうと思った。 興味のある方は~7月9日までやってますんで、行ってみて下さい。 新宿眼科画廊 新宿区新宿5-18-11 電話:5285-8822 この新宿眼科画廊も貸し画廊やのに、たまたまカウンターに生徒がおらんかったから飲み物の氷の場所を尋ねたら、一旦こっちの顔を見よってんけど無視しやがった。 生徒らから2週で50万ほど取って商売してんねんから、こっちからはカウンターの中までは見えへんねんから、ああいう対応はないやろうと思った。 |
